The largest employer federation in France, Mouvement des Entreprises de France (MEDEF), is exploring potential partnerships to advance sustainable development across properties managed by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).
During a courtesy visit to the BCDA office, MEDEF Chairman and Special Representative of the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, M. François Corbin, discussed possible collaboration in renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure development, and efficient transportation systems for New Clark City.
BCDA Vice President for Strategic Projects and Management Engr. Randy S. Viacrusis and Vice President for Investment Promotions and Marketing Erwin Kenneth Peralta welcomed the MEDEF delegation and presented BCDA’s development portfolio spanning Clark, Baguio, Metro Manila, and La Union.
BCDA highlighted ongoing public infrastructure projects such as the future construction of airport access roads, the Clark National Food Hub, an ICT passive network in New Clark City, and emerging waste-to-energy initiatives.
Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) Department Manager for New Business Ventures Melissa Feliciano also provided updates on the Clark National Food Hub, emphasizing its role in developing a modern logistics and agri-business center in Central Luzon.
The discussion centered on best practices for developing sustainable, inclusive, and economically dynamic urban communities.
