Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan on Friday, 24 October, appealed to the public to make justice, integrity, and rights "viral" amid the issues surrounding the questionable flood control projects across the country.

"Let's make justice trending. Let's make integrity and righteousness viral again. Because in a time when thieves are brave, the honest and truthful must be braver," Pangilinan said during the "Kung Walang Korap, Walang Mahirap" event in Quezon City, where the senator publicly released his statement of assets, liabilities, and net worth (SALN).

During the same event, the senator also led the oath-taking ceremony of 200 new Liberal Party members.

According to Pangilinan, the SALN release is a "bold reaffirmation that accountability begins with example."

"Impunity and lack of accountability have now become a trend. We also made it a trend to only apply the law to the poor, to the helpless, and the powerless," he said.

"We made it a trend that those in power or in a position can do anything," he added.

Pangilinan also urged all government officials who are members of the Liberal Party to release their SALNs, and if it is proven that they benefited from the corruption, they will be expelled from the party.
