A Brahminy kite was rescued and officially turned over to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 3 Conservation and Development Division for proper care and medication.

Also known as the red-backed sea eagle in Australia, the kite was turned over by Asly Garote and Ariel Dino of Marquee Place. The process was facilitated by the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Angeles.

The DENR Region 3 expressed its appreciation to CENRO Angeles for its continued support and active participation in wildlife rescue and protection efforts.

According to CENRO, the collaboration reflects the city government and Mayor Jon Lazatin’s strong commitment to environmental conservation and biodiversity protection.
