Maynilad strengthens community health with free septic tank cleaning this September

Maynilad Water Services, Inc., the West Zone concessionaire, is offering free septic tank cleaning to residential and semi-business customers in select areas of Metro Manila and Cavite this September. The service aims to improve community health and reduce pollution in the region’s waterways.

“We ask our customers to avail of this service, as it will help to protect community health and the environment,” said Maynilad Chief Operating Officer Christopher Lichauco.

The sanitation initiative is part of Maynilad’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental stewardship while providing practical support to customers. Normally priced at around Php 4,700 per truck, the service is now available at no extra cost for eligible households and businesses in select barangays. These include communities in Caloocan (Barangay 1, 4 to 18, 20, 25 to 28, 30 to 46, 49 to 79, 167, 171, 172, 174 to 176, 178, 180, and 185 to 188); Las Piñas (Talon I, Talon III, Talon IV, Talon V, and Zapote); Malabon (Baritan, Bayan-Bayanan, Concepcion, Dampalit, Flores, Hulong Duhat, Ibaba, Longos, Muzon, San Agustin, and Tañong); Manila (Ermita, Malate, Paco, San Miguel, Sta. Cruz, Sta. Mesa, and Tondo); Pasay (San Jose, San Rafael, San Roque, and Sta. Clara); Parañaque (La Huerta, Merville, San Antonio, San Dionisio, San Isidro, Sto. Niño I, and Sucat); Quezon City (Apolonio Samson, Bahay Toro, Balingasa, Bungad, Damar, Damayan, Del Monte, Don Manuel, Doña Aurora, Doña Josefa, Katipunan, Maharlika, Mariblo, N.S. Amoranto, Pagibig sa Nayon, Paltok, Paraiso, Sienna, and Talayan); and Valenzuela (Bagbaguin, Balangkas, Bignay, Canumay East, Isla, Karuhatan, Lingunan, Malanday, Malinta, Palasan, Parada, Paso De Blas, Rincon, Tagalag, Veinte Reales, and Wawang Pulo).

Maynilad is also extending the free septic tank cleaning service to parts of Cavite Province, covering Bacoor City (Mambog I, Mambog IV, Molino, Molino II, Molino III, Molino IV, Molino VI, Molino VII, Niog II, Niog III, Panapaan V, Queens Row Central, Queens Row East, and Queens Row West); Kawit (Balsahan, Binakayan, Magdalo, Marulas, Panamitan, Poblacion, Pulvorista, Samala-Marquez, Sta. Isabela, Tabon III, Toclong, Tramo-Bantayan, and Wakas I); Imus City (Anabu I-B, Anabu I-E, Anabu I-F, Anabu II, Anabu II-A to II-E, Bayan Luma II, Bayan Luma VI, Bayan Luma VII, Bucandala II, Bucandala III, Bucandala V, Carsadang Bago I, Malagasang I-G, Malagasang II-D, Medicion I, Palico I, Poblacion I-A, Poblacion III-A, Tanzang Luma I, Tanzang Luma II, and Toclong II); Noveleta (Magdiwang, Putol, Salcedo I, Salcedo II, San Antonio II, San Jose II, San Juan II, San Rafael II, San Rafael III, San Rafael IV, and Sta. Rosa I); and Rosario (Kaunlaran, Muzon II, Silangan I, and Silangan II).

The program not only ensures cleaner septic systems but also contributes to reducing pollution in Metro Manila’s rivers, aligning with Maynilad’s mission to provide safe and sustainable water services.
