New Gen style icon Brent Manalo isn’t afraid to push fashion boundaries

‘I’m not scared to try new things. My style is very versatile. I’m not afraid to do one thing and do another the next day. It’s always changing, ever-evolving,’

For today’s style-savvy youth, Brent Manalo is more than just a face in a campaign; he’s a living reminder that fashion should be fearless.

Manalo is quickly carving his name as one of the New Gen’s most-watched style icons. Fresh off his historic PBB Collab win, he’s been turning heads not just for his on-screen presence but also for his bold, ever-evolving fashion sense.

A quick visit to his Instagram reveals exactly why — each post feels like a curated lookbook of the “Brent Manalo style,” where streetwear, polished tailoring, and experimental fits coexist effortlessly. It’s this versatility and willingness to explore that have made him a reference point for young fashion enthusiasts.

“I’m not scared to try new things. My style is very versatile. I’m not afraid to do one thing and do another the next day. It’s always changing, ever-evolving,” Brent said.

He added, “’Wag matakot (Don’t be afraid), whoever is following me, to try something different. Be more adventurous when it comes to style.”

That bold philosophy took center stage as Philippine fashion powerhouse Penshoppe kicked off the second half of 2025 with its high-energy campaign, Full Speed Ahead, which launched at SM Cebu on 3 August.

Rooted in the rallying call to “accelerate toward your dreams,” the Full Speed Ahead campaign mirrors Brent’s journey — where personal growth and self-expression take the driver’s seat.

The racing-inspired collection fuses statement-making silhouettes with high-impact visuals of movement, power, and individuality, proving that fashion is more than what you wear — it’s the mindset you bring to the world.

For Brent, that mindset is all about embracing change, staying adventurous, and never shying away from a new look. And if the New Gen is watching, he’s hoping they take his advice to heart: style is not just a reflection — it’s a revolution.
