Three most wanted fugitives were arrested in separate operations conducted by different units of Rizal Police Provincial Office on Thursday.
At around 11:40 a.m., operatives of the San Mateo Municipal Police Station launched an operation in Barangay Guitnang Bayan 1, San Mateo, Rizal, against alias Joe, 32, a resident Barangay Maly, also in this town.
The accused was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by San Mateo Regional Trial Court Branch 76 for murder, with no bail recommended.
Meanwhile, at around 1:50 p.m., operatives of the Angono Municipal Police Station served a warrant of arrest against alias Ven, 45, while being detained at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Bagumbayan, Teresa, Rizal. The accused is facing charges for kidnapping with frustrated murder.
In another operation, at around 11:05 a.m., tracker team of Tanay Municipal Police Station arrested the 18-year-old accused, identified by the alias Utoy, Grade 12 student, and a resident of Barangay San Juan, Baras, Rizal.
He was apprehended by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by the Morong Regional Trial Court Branch 161 for carnapping, with a recommended bail of P300,000.
