It has become apparent that Heart Evangelista will always be asked about her rumored rivalry with Pia Wurtzbach.
And the fashion icon was again queried by Boy Abunda during an interview at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater recently.
“I think I said in the past, like, when you go to Fashion Week, it is a party. Everyone can come. What is the issue? And honestly, please, let’s stop,” Evangelista told Abunda.
“Because there’s a dime a dozen of us that go there. But again, it goes back to, I went through hell in the past with certain people. You don’t just, you know, do certain things. It’s called professionalism. And I’m a professional. I work hard for what I have. All is fair in love and war,” she added.
Evangelista feels that she has since moved on from her past conflicts.
She said, “There are some things I feel that, you know, okay naman tayo, eh. Wala namang ganoon (we’re okay, there’s nothing like that). However, you must continue with your life. You know, I am in a moment again in my life where I am so grateful for what I have. I do not question what happened. I feel like all of this, you have to get to the next chapter of your life. You will never be able to get to that next chapter if you have certain people with you. And so, because of that, I’m thankful that these things happen… But that’s done. And truly, I’m thankful. I’m thankful to every person.”
When Abunda asked about closure with her former glam team, Evangelista admitted it was one of the most difficult phases in her life.
“Yes, in the most painful way. Nagpapakatotoo lang tayo (we’re just being real). There are some people who you’ve allowed to enter your life. Not just friends, but even lovers in your past. For you to be strangers is very painful. You’ve shown them your heart and along with showing them your heart comes your deepest, darkest secrets. For some people to take that, chop that up and sell it to people, it’s very painful… But all I know is… I am who I am because of everything,” she said.
Anne Curtis disowns fake tweet at Vice Ganda
Anne Curtis took to social media to deny a tweet she supposedly made, which was a jab at fellow It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda.
You don’t feel that you’re hurting someone, even if that’s your role; you control your jokes. Do you know that we have hidden anger against you? We’re not just paying you because of respect! You always have a penchant for embarrassing people. You don’t even know that many contestants are badtrip to you).”
Last Wednesday, 13 July, Curtis denied having tweeted against Vice Ganda.
“Good morning, guys! See you on Showtime today! And siguro naman (And maybe) by now alam niyo hindi galing sa akin ‘yung (you know that it did not come from me that) post that’s floating around about my sisterette!!!” she tweeted.
And to whoever created that tweet, she said: “Konting respeto naman po (Just a little respect please).”
