Dinalupihan, Bataan — A new school building will help the shortage of classrooms in this town as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) turned over a school building to the Sta. Isabel Elementary School.
Implemented by the Bataan 3rd District Engineering Office (DEO), the school building is a two-storey, four-classroom infrastructure.
The project, with a total cost of P12.97 million, aims to address classroom shortages and improve learning conditions by expanding the school’s capacity to accommodate more students in safe and well-equipped facilities.
Designed with inclusivity and hygiene in mind, the structure can serve approximately 120 students and includes a female and PWD-friendly comfort room on the ground floor, a male comfort room on the second floor, an accessibility ramp, and a handwashing station.
"The new building will significantly benefit students by providing a safer and more conducive environment for learning," District Engineer Maribel Navarro said.
Navarro added that the additional classrooms address the school’s growing enrollment and align with modern standards for public education, enhancing the overall quality of learning.
