ANGELES CITY, Pampanga — A total of 600 students will start their school year with ease and vigor as the Amsic Integrated School in Barangay Amsic, Angeles City opens its new facility.
Completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways Pampanga 3rd District Engineering Office, the facility has 12 classrooms in a four-story building.
District Engineer Arnold Ocampo said the project addresses the growing demand for educational infrastructure in the area.
He added that the facility will feature modern classrooms, comfort rooms on each floor, a ramp accessible to persons with disabilities, and hand-washing stations on both sides to support a safe, inclusive, and health-conscious learning environment.
“This facility gives students the space and environment they need to thrive, while enabling teachers to deliver lessons more effectively,” Ocampo said.
Approximately 600 elementary students from Barangay Amsic are expected to benefit from the additional classrooms, which will help ease congestion and create a more conducive learning environment.
The project is part of DPWH’s ongoing efforts to enhance public school infrastructure in fast-growing communities.
