Lido Cocina Tsina gets a modern makeover in Bacoor

Lido Cocina Tsina, a beloved Chinese heritage restaurant best known for its signature pugon-roasted Asado, is rolling out a modern brand refresh in time for its 89th anniversary — starting with its newly reopened branch in Molino, Bacoor, Cavite.

The restaurant’s revamped look and updated branding were officially unveiled during the branch’s grand opening in May 2025, marked by a festive celebration complete with lion dances, balloon arches, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Lido executives and local government officials.

“We’re incredibly proud to unveil Lido’s brand refresh — a thoughtful evolution that honors our heritage while embracing a modern dining experience,” said Annie Wong, president of Lido Cocina Tsina. “We’re confident both loyal patrons and first-time guests will feel the same heartwarming Lido hospitality — now in a more contemporary setting.”

Founded in 1936 along T. Alonzo Street in Binondo, Lido Cocina Tsina has served generations of Filipinos with its distinct blend of Filipino-Chinese flavors. With this refresh, the restaurant hopes to continue its legacy while staying relevant to today’s diners.

Updated look and feel

The Bacoor branch showcases the chain’s new interior aesthetic, characterized by warm tones, natural textures, and minimalist design. The updated logo features a stylized pagoda icon — symbolizing Lido’s roots in Chinese culinary tradition with a modern twist.

The makeover also reflects the brand’s aim to maintain a casual, comfortable atmosphere while elevating the overall dining experience.

New delightful dishes

Alongside the refreshed design, Lido also introduced several new menu items to complement its lineup of “Lido Legends” — staple dishes such as Chami, Drunken Lechon Macau, and Shrimp Foo-Yong.

“At the heart of Lido is our delicious, thoughtfully prepared dishes that people have really come to love,” Annie Wong further says. “Now, we’re excited and proud to introduce our new product offerings whose development I personally supervised.”

Among these include Roasted Asado in Plum Glaze, Beef Brisket Curry, French Beans in XO, Radish Cake in XO, Hot Shrimp Salad and Cantonese-Style Crispy Noodles — all of which are sure to whet the appetite of foodies. Add to that, all are MSG free!

With plans to roll out the new brand identity to other branches soon, Lido Cocina Tsina is set to captivate a new generation of diners while staying true to its origins.
