The Philippines took center stage at Expo 2025 Osaka with a powerful display of creativity, culture, and innovation that exceeded global expectations. More than just a showcase, the Philippine Pavilion stands as a proud statement of Filipino talent and ingenuity before the world.

On 20 June, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos led the country’s presentation at the Philippine Pavilion. They were joined by Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, Tourism Promotions Board Philippines Chief Operating Officer Marga Nograles, Ambassador Mylene Garcia-Albano, Consul General Voltaire Mauricio, Deputy Speaker Duke Frasco, and other Philippine officials.

Guests explored immersive exhibits such as the AI photobooth and “Dancing with Nature,” and witnessed a vibrant fashion and cultural showcase that celebrated Filipino artistry and honored the country’s enduring friendship with Japan.

With the theme “Nature, Culture, and Community: Woven Together for a Better Future,” the Philippine Pavilion has drawn more than 372,000 visitors as of 19 June, proving the global appeal of Filipino creativity and heritage.

The Department of Tourism leads the Philippine Organizing Committee for Expo 2025 Osaka as Chairperson and Commissioner-General by virtue of Administrative Order No. 7 signed by President Marcos, with the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines serving as Secretary General.
