Maricel Soriano feels better after Singapore medical treatment
Diamond Star Maricel Soriano has returned to the country after an almost week-long medical treatment in Singapore.
The veteran actress, a source said, feels better now after being treated for her spinal arthritis.
But Soriano’s medical treatment is far from over. She will return to Singapore for a few more tests.
Soriano disclosed that she felt excruciating pain at her back and when she was diagnosed, she learned that she was afflicted with arthritis on her spine which limited her mobility.
She went through aquatic therapy where she was made to walk in her swimming pool while doing some stretching.
A denial
Dindo Balares, with seeming vehemence, denied on a Monday, 16 June item about Kris Aquino now living in Caramoan, Camarines Sur.
His denial came via a scathing Facebook post which seemingly tried to tear us into smithereens.
He denied, too, that Aquino helped finance his daughter’s college studies, saying that his daughter was a scholar in UP.
While we may have erred in our item about Kris, it was not deliberate. One or two mistakes do not constitute fake news peddling.
Interestingly, Balares just made a denial about Aquino’s location without offering facts of her whereabouts. If he is indeed telling the truth, why not reveal where Aquino is staying to really make us who we are in his eyes?
Balares might not be aware that there are talks behind his back that Aquino financed his daughter’s college education. Now that he’s making a denial, isn’t he glad that the truth was unwittingly ferretted out?
Balares should take caution with his so-called friends in the business because they are not what they seem.
Next time, we’ll name names. That’s a promise.
We took up Journalism in college so we are in the right business. We’re a bilingual writer.
We’re not perfect as writers. We sometimes commit mistakes but nothing is deliberate.
Oh, we remember, he denied with utter vehemence on his Facebook post that Kyline Alcantara and Kobe Paras had broken up after doing some research.
“Intact pa rin ang sources ko sa entertainment industry, kaya nagtanong ako kung totoong nag-break sina Kyline Alcantara at Kobe Paras. HINDI SILA NAG-BREAK.
“RELIABLE ANG SOURCE KO,” he wrote on 13 April in a now deleted post on Facebook. (My sources in the entertainment industry is still intact, which was why I asked around if it’s true that Kyline Alcantara and Kobe Paras have broken up. THEY DID NOT BREAK. MY SOURCE IS RELIABLE).
So, who’s the fake news peddler now?
