'Please continue reporting the page… I’m now in the process of exploring legal options.'

Jake Ejercito and Andi Eigenmann are drawing a firm line — especially when it comes to the safety and dignity of their daughter, Ellie, 13.

The parents took to social media over the weekend to publicly denounce content creator Crist Briand, who had recorded and posted a video of Ellie without her consent or that of her parents. The video quickly drew backlash, not only for the ambush-style filming but also for the disturbing and inappropriate comments it attracted — prompting Jake and Andi to speak out with urgency and resolve.

‘Clout-chasing should never cost someone their privacy’

In a strongly worded post, Jake Ejercito made it clear that what happened was a violation of privacy of not just of any individual — but of a minor.

“This ‘influencer’ filmed Ellie without her consent. She did not want to be in his video — let alone be posted by him,” Jake wrote. “Clout-chasing should never come at the cost of someone’s privacy, especially a minor’s.”

The video, originally posted on social media by Crist Briand, featured Ellie caught unaware. Jake emphasized that the act was not only irresponsible but potentially harmful, especially given Ellie’s age and her status as a public figure’s child.

Exploring legal action

In a follow-up post, Jake confirmed that Crist Briand had already taken down the video, but the damage had been done. The actor urged his followers to report the content creator’s page, calling him an “irresponsible clout chaser.”

“Please continue reporting the page… I’m now in the process of exploring legal options,” Jake shared on his Instagram Story.

His call to action reflects a growing concern among parents, celebrities, and digital rights advocates about how content creators often cross boundaries in pursuit of views — sometimes at the expense of others’ safety and consent.

Andi Eigenmann speaks out

Adding her voice to the protest, Andi Eigenmann, Ellie’s mother, shared her own anger over the video.

Describing the situation as both “disrespectful” and “exploitative,” Andi condemned the use of her daughter for content creation, especially when it resulted in Ellie being exposed to online harassment in the video’s comment section.

“Don’t use our daughter for clout,” Andi declared.

As a mother who has chosen to step back from showbiz and raise her children in relative privacy, Andi’s reaction underscored the deep violation that comes with unauthorized public exposure — particularly when it involves a young girl who never agreed to be part of such content.

Jake and Andi’s united front reminds the public and digital influencers alike that consent is non-negotiable, and that no number of likes or views should ever come at the expense of a child’s well-being.

As Jake continues to pursue legal remedies and both parents stand firm in protecting their daughter, their message is loud and clear: Respect boundaries. Respect privacy. Especially when children are involved.
