A radiant afternoon of elegance and empowerment unfolded at Ibis Styles in Araneta City as the official candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2024 joined forces with My Daily Collagen for a heartfelt and lively media conference together with the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors.
Set against a backdrop of beauty, wellness, and camaraderie, the event offered members of the press an intimate look at the women vying for the crown — beyond their poise and pageant prowess.
The gathering was a celebration not only of physical beauty but also of the strength and resilience required to shine on the pageant stage. Leading the event were Anna Perez, president and chief executive officer of Global Wellness, and Oliver Salas, the brand’s chief sales officer, who both expressed their pride in supporting the Binibini journey for the second consecutive year.
Following a warm and gracious lunch, a fun twist awaited the media: they drew candidate numbers from a fishbowl and posed their own questions, sparking engaging, authentic exchanges with the Binibinis — further revealing the wit, heart and intelligence that define the modern Filipina queen.
In a competition where every detail matters — from skin radiance to mental resilience — Binibining Pilipinas turned to a wellness partner that embodies the same commitment to excellence.
Indeed, it was the real-world impact of the product that caught the attention of the Binibining Pilipinas Charities. “Before they reached out, they had already done their research,” Salas said. “They talked to past titleholders who had used our products. The results were undeniable.”
“It’s more than beauty,” said Perez, a registered nurse and skincare expert. “It supports immune and heart health, boosts energy, helps with wound healing, and even offers neuroprotective benefits. The key is consistency.”
And consistency is something the 36 candidates know all too well. The rigorous training, high-pressure events, and daily commitments of pageant life require more than talent — they demand endurance. “It’s not easy,” Perez acknowledged. “That’s why when the girls told us they felt more energized, more vibrant — it was deeply fulfilling. The feedback was real and unsolicited.”
“We’re promoting balance,” Perez said. “We want to emphasize that beauty and a healthy lifestyle must go hand in hand.”
This alignment of values led to a renewed partnership for 2024 — a significant gesture in an industry built on trust. “I believe we’re the first brand Binibining Pilipinas renewed,” Salas said. “We’re exclusive to them because we value long-term relationships.”
And this relationship won’t end at the coronation night on 15 June. The brand has pledged to continue supporting the queens as they take the global stage. “We’re with them as they represent the Philippines internationally,” Salas affirmed.
