At least two tropical cyclone-like vortices (TCLVs) are expected to form within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) over the next two weeks.

Based on the Tropical Cyclone (TC) Threat Potential, the two TCLVs are forecast to form over the Philippine Sea and the West Philippine Sea.

From 4 to 10 June, the first Tropical Cyclone-Like Vortex (TCLV) is expected to form over the Philippine Sea. However, the state weather bureau PAGASA noted that it has a low chance of intensifying into a typhoon.

From 11 to 17 June, a second TCLV is projected to emerge over the West Philippine Sea, while the first TCLV moves toward the northern portion of the PAR.

Both weather systems have a low chance of developing into tropical cyclones.

PAGASA noted that one to two tropical cyclones may form this June, with possible tracks shifting northward or making landfall in Central Luzon or Southern Luzon.

The state weather bureau also said that the southwest monsoon continues to bring scattered rains over the western section of the country, while the axis of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is bringing light to moderate, occasionally heavy rains over Southern Mindanao.

As of writing, no low-pressure area is being monitored that could develop into a tropical cyclone.
