Russian content creator Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, who is currently in detention for publicly harassing Filipinos, has asked Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla to drop the charges against him, citing mental health concerns.

Despite the plea, Remulla said the vlogger must still face the consequences of his actions. The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) chief said charges of unjust vexation will be filed next week against Zdorovetskiy, who was accused of harassing three security guards in a now-viral video.

Remulla confirmed that Zdorovetskiy’s legal team had reached out to the security guards in an attempt to settle the matter privately. However, the guards declined, choosing instead to pursue the case in court.

Zdorovetskiy, known for his prank videos, drew heavy criticism after videos surfaced showing him "harassing" Filipinos in public. The incident sparked backlash online, with many Filipinos condemning the stunt as disrespectful and insensitive.
