Paris Olympian John Cabang failed to make it to the semifinal of the men's 110-meter hurdles after clocking in 14.14 seconds in Heat 3 and finished in fifth place.
Ronnie Malipay finished in 10th place in the men's triple jump after tallying 15.73m.
Hokket delos Santos finished the men's decathlon in eighth place with a total of 6848 points.
The Philippines will try again on Thursday as William Morrison of shot put, Leonard Grospe of high jump, and Daniella Daynata of discus throw will compete in the final in their respective events.
