Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go, a trusted ally of former president Rodrigo Roa Duterte, is leading the senatorial race in this year’s midterm elections — aligning with pre-election surveys that predicted him as the 2025 Senate topnotcher.
As of 10:47 p.m., with 74.01% of election returns received by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Media Server, Go of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) has secured 25,270,001 votes. He is followed by Bam Aquino (KNP) with 19,867,083 votes; fellow PDP-Laban candidate Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa with 19,334,455; ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo of Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas with 16,077,428; and Liberal Party candidate Kiko Pangilinan with 14,514,927 votes.
Go thanked his supporters in a televised interview, dedicating his potential victory to Duterte.
“Sipag, pagmamalasakit, and more of my service to the nation ang maaasahan ng taumbayan sa akin,” he said.

Independent senatorial candidate Rodante Marcoleta ranks sixth with 14,290,519 votes, followed by:

Metro Manila mayoral races
In Quezon City, Mayor Joy Belmonte secured 811,000 votes, far ahead of rival Diosdado Velasco with 16,957. Her running mate, Gian Sotto, led the vice mayoral race with 739,001 votes.
In Caloocan, incumbent Mayor Along Malapitan garnered 312,201 votes over former Senator Sonny Trillanes, who received 207,783. Vice Mayor Karina Teh obtained 315,195 votes, defeating PJ Malonzo with 177,751.
In Pasig, Mayor Vico Sotto secured 288,605 votes, comfortably ahead of Sarah Discaya’s 23,702. Dodot Jaworski won the vice mayoral race with 239,003 votes over Iyo Caruncho Bernardo’s 57,849.
In Manila, Isko Moreno Domagoso returned to the city hall with 413,353 votes, besting incumbent Mayor Honey Lacuna, who received 148,449. His running mate Chi Atienza led the vice mayoral race with 454,976 votes over Yul Servo Nieto’s 192,134.
In Marikina, Maan Teodoro secured 137,918 votes, beating Stella Quimbo with 107,506.
In Taguig, Lani Cayetano topped the race with 399,665 votes against Arnel Cerafica’s 102,096. Arvin Ian Alit won the vice mayoral race with 327,602 votes over Janelle Cerafica’s 132,254.
In Navotas, John Rey Tiangco secured 113,566 votes. Vice mayoral candidate Tito Sanchez led with 104,794 votes.
In Pasay, Emi Calixto-Rubiano won with 131,403 votes over Wowee Manguerra’s 83,686. Mark Calixto led the vice mayoral race with 122,421 votes against Okidocbong Tolentino’s 80,561.
In San Juan, Mayor Francis Zamora was re-elected with 49,587 votes over Philip Cezar’s 7,151.
Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon also secured victory with 199,668 votes.
Provincial results
In Batangas, returning Governor Vilma Santos led with 600,729 votes. Dodo Mandanas was ahead in the vice gubernatorial race with 754,213 votes.
In Naga City, former vice president Leni Robredo led the mayoral race with 81,550 votes.
In Cebu, Pam Baricuatro led the gubernatorial race with 654,978 votes, ahead of incumbent Governor Gwen Garcia’s 418,383.
In Davao City, former president Rodrigo Duterte, reportedly residing in The Hague, secured a landslide win with 499,875 votes over Karlo Alexi Nograles’ 61,173. His son, Baste Duterte, dominated the vice mayoral race with 491,388 votes versus Bernie Al-Ag’s 59,766.
In Marinduque, Mel Go Go narrowly led with 61,887 votes over Lord Allan Jay Velasco’s 59,871. Doc Romulo Bacorro topped the vice gubernatorial race with 70,270 votes, defeating Lyn Angeles with 47,709.
