Great Wall Motor (GWM) isn’t slowing down. The brand closed April with 100,061 vehicles sold worldwide, adding more fuel to its steady global rise. It’s another solid month that reflects not just numbers, but growing trust in the brand’s evolving lineup of vehicles — from everyday cars to trail-ready off-roaders and energy-efficient models.
Leading the charge are GWM’s New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), which made up nearly a third of April’s total sales with 28,813 units sold. That’s a 28 percent jump from the same time last year. The rugged “Boxy” segment — think tough, go-anywhere rides — wasn’t far behind with 43,182 units moved, up almost 25 percent year-on-year. It’s clear the appetite for both cleaner and more capable vehicles continues to grow.
GWM’s continued global growth is fueled by consumer trust in its diverse portfolio of technologically advanced and stylish vehicles, including the Tank, Haval, POER or also known as Cannon in the Philippines, ORA and Wey nameplates.
In the Philippines, GWM is also riding strong momentum, achieving a 124 percent increase over its April sales target, a testament to the growing trust and excitement among Filipino customers. This performance marks another high point for GWM Philippines as it continues to gain traction in a competitive automotive market.
