Senator Christopher “Bong” Go joined thousands of supporters in Panabo and Davao City for a back-to-back motorcade on Friday, calling for continued support for the DuterTEN senatorial slate and expressing his deep gratitude to Davao, which he considers home.
The convoy began in Panabo City and ended in Davao City with a grand rally led by Mayor Sebastian Duterte.
A long-time aide to former President Rodrigo Duterte, Go emphasized his loyalty to the values instilled in him: service, humility and compassion for ordinary Filipinos.
“If given another chance to serve, I will not waste it. I will offer hard work, compassion, and even more public service,” Go said.
“Even during these difficult times for our Tatay Digong, I always remember his advice: Do what is right. Put the country first. Prioritize the welfare of the Filipino people, especially the poor, and you won’t go wrong.”
Before heading to Davao, Go stopped for lunch at a local eatery in Panabo, encouraging support for small businesses to boost the local economy. Alongside health, he also committed to pushing for job creation and food security.
Go called on Davaoeños to support all ten candidates in the DuterTEN senatorial lineup, which includes Jimmy Bondoc, Bato Dela Rosa, Bong Go, Jayvee Hinlo, Raul Lambino, Rodante Marcoleta, Doc Marites Mata, Apollo Quiboloy, Atty. Vic Rodriguez and Phillip “Ipe” Salvador.
He also urged support for local Duterte-aligned candidates in Davao City: “Let’s support our local candidates, led by former President Rodrigo Duterte for mayor and Mayor Baste Duterte for vice mayor.”
Go also visited the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) in Marikina, expressing gratitude for the church’s spiritual guidance, prayer, and continued support for shared advocacies.
Go reiterated his commitment to champion laws and programs that address the needs of Filipinos, especially the sick and the poor. As chair of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, he emphasized the importance of spiritual health in his holistic approach to improving Filipinos’ well-being.
