The Bureau of Customs-Manila International Container Port (BoC-MICP) has surpassed its April 2025 collection goal, collecting P19.4 billion against its monthly collection target of P18.19 billion, with a 6.7 percent surplus of approximately P1.25 billion, under the supervision of District Collector Rizalino Jose C. Torralba.

“This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the guidance and direction of BoC commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio,” Torralba said.

Additionally, Torralba recognized the port’s personnel from the administration, operations, and evaluation groups for their continuous dedication to public service.

Outstanding work

He also thanked the port’s support staff for their outstanding work and rigorous adherence to customs regulations.

The Port is extremely grateful to its major stakeholders for their cooperation and trust, which are the foundation of its success.

BoC-MICP also credits this milestone to improved customs procedures, ongoing stakeholder participation and cooperation, and the port’s stepped-up border security and anti-smuggling efforts.
