Three out of four Filipino voters would choose candidates who will defend the country’s rights in the West Philippine Sea, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

Commissioned by Stratbase Consultancy, the 11-15 April survey found that 75 percent of voters prefer candidates who believe the Philippines must assert its rights against China’s aggressive actions.

Only 25 percent would vote for candidates who do not.

SURVEY results released by SWS show that 75 percent of Filipino voters prefer candidates who will assert the country's rights in the West Philippine Sea.

SWS conducted face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters nationwide, covering Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, with a margin of error of ±2.31 percent.

SWS also emphasized that it handled all aspects of the survey independently, from design to data analysis, ensuring full integrity throughout the process.
