As the 2025 national and local elections draw near, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has rolled out a new online tool to help Filipino voters ensure a smooth and hassle-free voting experience.

Introducing the Comelec Precinct Finder — a user-friendly platform that lets you check your voter registration status and find your designated polling place ahead of time. You can access it through this official link: https://precinctfinder.comelec.gov.ph/voter_precinct.

Just enter your full name, date of birth, and place of registration, and the system will show you your polling location, precinct number and whether your registration is active.

There’s also a special section for overseas voters — just click the “Overseas” button to check your status.

Why use it?

Comelec officials are urging everyone to verify their information early to avoid confusion or last-minute issues on election day. If your registration appears inactive, don’t worry — you still have time to contact your local Comelec office and fix it.

A complete directory of local Comelec offices is available on their website.

This tool is free to use, mobile-friendly, and was developed with support from the Department of Information and Communications Technology. It’s especially helpful for voters in far-flung or underserved areas who may not have easy access to election updates.

Go backs Comelec Precinct Finder

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, a strong advocate for voter accessibility and fair elections, is encouraging Filipinos to use the Precinct Finder to avoid problems on election day.

“Don’t waste your chance to vote. Let’s make sure we’re ready when election day comes so our votes are counted properly. That’s our right, and we should value it,” he said.

He also reminded voters to be responsible and choose leaders with a heart for public service.

“Choose wisely. Pick candidates who genuinely care about serving the people. And beyond that, let’s also learn the voting process and know where we need to vote to ensure a smooth and orderly election.”

As a member of the Senate Committee on Electoral Reforms, Go urged barangay officials and community leaders to help spread the word about the Precinct Finder, especially to those in areas with limited internet access.

“If you know someone who can’t go online, help them out. Check for them if you can. Every vote is sacred, and we shouldn’t lose it just because we didn’t verify online.”

He also reminded everyone that a small action today can prevent big problems later.

“A simple click now can save you from a major hassle on election day. Sometimes, small steps lead to big results.”

And finally, a reminder for everyone to take ownership of their vote:

“This isn’t just about the candidates. It’s about the Filipino people — and protecting every single vote is our shared responsibility.”
