Senator Christopher “Bong” Go rolled through the streets of Taytay, Rizal in a motorcade on Monday, delivering his trademark message of serbisyong walang pili or inclusive public service. With a strong focus on healthcare, jobs, livelihood, education, sports and youth development, Senator Go reaffirmed his commitment to bringing essential government services closer to underserved communities.

“Let’s continue bringing government services closer to the people. This way, our fellow Filipinos will truly feel the government’s compassion,” Go said.

Joining him were fellow “Duter-Ten” senatorial bets Atty. Jimmy Bondoc, actor Phillip Salvador, and a representative of Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa. They were also accompanied by Rizal Governor Nina Ynares and other local officials.

The Taytay motorcade followed an earlier engagement in Antipolo City that same day, where Senator Go led a similar activity, once again emphasizing his healthcare and grassroots service advocacy. These back-to-back events mark his intensified outreach efforts across Southern Tagalog.

Residents of Taytay warmly welcomed Go, many recalling his long-standing ties to the region. In 2019, he was declared an adopted son of CALABARZON in recognition of his continued support for regional development programs.

As Chair of the Senate Committee on Health, Senator Go highlighted his push for accessible and inclusive healthcare through strengthened primary care, upgraded grassroots facilities, and institutionalized medical assistance.

“To patients, just go to the Malasakit Center — these centers are for you. If you have hospital bills, government agencies are there to help you settle them,” he said, referencing his successful sponsorship of Republic Act (RA) 11463, which institutionalized Malasakit Centers, as well as his role in expanding Super Health Centers across the country.

‘Let’s continue bringing government services closer to the people. This way, our fellow Filipinos will truly feel the government’s compassion.’

He encouraged Rizal residents to access nearby Malasakit Centers located at the Antipolo City Hospital System Annex IV, Casimiro A. Ynares Sr. Memorial Hospital in Rodriguez, Bagong Cainta Municipal Hospital, and Margarito A. Duavit Memorial Hospital in Binangonan.

These one-stop shops for medical assistance bring together services from agencies such as the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Health (DoH), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.

As the principal author and sponsor of RA 11463, Go proudly reported that 167 Malasakit Centers now operate nationwide, assisting more than 17 million Filipinos, based on DoH data.
