Senator Christopher "Bong" Go is staying the course with renewed energy and commitment after once again securing the top spot in the latest senatorial survey by Social Weather Stations (SWS).
Go earned 45 percent voter preference in the April 2025 SWS poll commissioned by Stratbase Group, maintaining his solo lead in the race for the 2025 midterm elections. His steady climb from 32 percent in December to 45 percent this month reflects a growing base of public trust and support.
But more than the numbers, it is the people behind them who keep him going.
“Thank you once again to our fellow Filipinos for your continued trust and support.” “Your ongoing support for my service in any part of the country, whether in Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao, eases the fatigue,” Go said in Filipino.
Go made it clear that the results are not a reason to rest but a reminder to push even harder.
“This inspires me to further exceed expectations in my work, service, and compassion, especially for our less fortunate countrymen,” he said.
He emphasized that his top priority remains the welfare of ordinary Filipinos, especially those in need.
“You can count on me to always put the nation’s interests first and to prioritize the welfare of our underprivileged fellow Filipinos. Hard work, compassion, and more service are what I can offer to our fellow Filipinos,” Go added. “We will strive harder to bring services closer to our people, especially medical assistance for poor patients.”
His consistent rise is also evident in other independent surveys. The March 2025 Pulse Asia poll showed Go at 61.9 percent, a jump from 58.1 percent in February. Publicus Asia’s Pahayag 2025 First Quarter survey placed him at the top in both aided and unaided awareness. OCTA Research’s Tugon ng Masa survey in March also recorded a continued increase in support.
Despite this momentum, Go said his focus remains on public service.
Go is known for championing accessible healthcare through programs like the Malasakit Centers and his push for Super Health Centers and Regional Specialty Centers.
He also expressed gratitude for the support received by his allies in the “DuterTEN” coalition, a group committed to carrying forward the legacy of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
“I would also like to thank you for supporting my party mates in ‘DuterTEN’ who, like me, want to continue and fight for the good initiatives of former President Rodrigo Duterte,” Go said.
He ended his message with a prayer of thanks and a renewed pledge to serve with sincerity.
“Above all, I thank God for the opportunity to serve my fellow Filipinos,” Go said. “Once again, thank you very much.”
