In a series of intensified manhunt operations, the Bulacan Police successfully arrested the Top 2 Most Wanted Person at the provincial level and the Top 1 Most Wanted Person in Baliwag City on Saturday and Sunday.
According to Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) director, Police Colonel Franklin Estoro, the prime suspect, identified only as Neldy, 38, was arrested for charges related to human trafficking and large-scale illegal recruitment.
Neldy, a resident of Barangay Pinagbarilan, Baliwag, was apprehended at San Lorenzo Parish Church in Barangay Wawa, Balagtas at around 2:25 p.m. on Saturday. The arrest was carried out by a joint team from Balagtas Municipal Police Station, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Bulacan West PIT-RIU3, Baliwag City Police Station, and the 301st RMFC of RMFB 3.
She was served a Warrant of Arrest for violating Section 4(A) in relation to Section 6 of Republic Act 9208 (Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003), as amended by RA 10364, and large-scale illegal recruitment under Section 6 of RA 8042, as amended by RA 10022.
The warrant was issued by the Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 19, Malolos City, with no recommended bail.
Meanwhile, the Malolos City Police Station served a warrant of arrest to a 42-year-old male from Barangay Cofradia, Malolos City, who was already under detention at BJMP Malolos in Barangay Sto. Niño.
He faces charges of reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property, with bail set at ₱P21,989.75, as ordered by the Presiding Judge of MTC Branch 117, Taguig City.
In a separate operation, police from Plaridel Municipal Police Station arrested a 27-year-old male resident of Pasay City at around 1 a.m. on Sunday.
He was served a Warrant of Arrest for Qualified Theft, issued by the Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court in Tanauan City, Batangas, with a recommended bail of P30,000.
“All three individuals are now under the custody of their respective arresting units for proper disposition and legal processing,” Col. Estoro said.
The BPPO has reiterated its commitment to intensify efforts in tracking down wanted individuals across the province as part of its broader campaign for peace and order.
