An attempted burglary turned deadly for a suspected thief in Vevey, Switzerland last 28 March.

Police found the body of a 16-year-old boy pinned by the sliding door of a sandwich shop at 4 a.m. They gave CPR to the teenager to no avail.

Local media reported that the victim forced open the sliding door to get in but only managed to squeeze his body inside before the automatic door closed on his neck. He died on the spot, reports Swissinfo.ch.

A local “ukay-ukay” customer, meanwhile, had the scare of her life inside a surplus clothing store.

A report by the morning show “Unang Hirit” told of an incident inside an undisclosed ukay-ukay store where a female customer was fitting clothes.

In the middle of trying clothes on, the lights went out. Thinking it was just a temporary power interruption, she continued doing her thing.

When she stepped out of the fitting room, she realized the store had closed and she was trapped inside.

The woman repeatedly knocked on the store door calling for help. No one outside responded until 10:35 p.m., when she posted on Facebook that she was finally rescued, reports “Unang Hirit.”
