Social media superstar Zeinab Harake is ready to say "I do" to basketball player Ray Parks Jr. as the couple plans an outdoor Christian wedding in the Philippines later this year.

To keep the event private and intimate, Harake revealed that they will enforce a strict no-phone policy for guests.

“Gusto ko lang ng private time. May pina-plan ako for my wedding. Sana, before malabas ng mga tao, official muna. Nag-order kami ng ziplock for phones. Gusto namin official lahat. Sana bigyan lang kami ng time,” she said, during OKBet’s "Ok to be Empowered Together" event in Taguig City, where she was a featured speaker adding that privacy is the best gift guests can give them.

As a content creator, Harake wants full creative control over documenting their special day.

“Ako kasi nag-e-edit. Noon, may supplier na naglabas ng proposal video, umiyak ako. Natataranta ako kasi gusto ko habulin. Ayoko ng gano'ng pressure. Sana magawa ko with all my love doon sa passion ko,” she explained.

She is personally involved in every aspect of the wedding planning, from directing their prenup shoot to coordinating with their video team.

“Kausap ko na ang video team, ngayon pa lang nagdi-direct na ako,” she shared.

While the couple already had a prenup shoot in Japan, they are planning another one in a scenic local destination.

“Ako lahat ang nag-isip noon. Lahat ng post ko, concept ko 'yun. 'Yung Old Money aesthetic, kay Daddy Ray 'yun. Expensive kasi aesthetic niya. Kapag mahal mo 'yung energy, makukuha mo talaga. Lalabas 'yun sa aura mo,” she said.

Harake emphasized that their decision to wed is deeply rooted in faith.

“Ang pagmamahalan namin ni Ray ay tungkol sa pag-honor kay God. Kaya gusto namin magpakasal—hindi dahil nagmamadali kaming magka-anak. Marami pa kaming gustong i-build sa future namin, at hindi kami nagmamadali,” she explained.

Originally considering a destination wedding, Harake revealed that logistics—especially involving her child—led them to opt for a local ceremony instead.

“Dapat abroad, kaso nahihirapan ako kasi ililipad ko pa anak ko. Best advice, magpakasal muna kami, tapos saka ayusin. Para at least dalawa na kayo, hindi ka na single mom,” she shared.

Harake also shared that she and Parks will be writing their own vows—an aspect she admits puts some pressure on her.

“Doon ako na-pre-pressure sa vows. Kasi ang galing ng proposal sa akin. Sinimulan tayo sa Bible verse! English talaga! Sabi ko, ‘Pwede huwag mo solohin ang wedding vow mo? Pwede may papel?’ Ang talino kasi ni Daddy Ray. Isa 'yan sa mga dahilan kung bakit ako na-in love. Smart man talaga,” she recounted.
