Former world champion Rene Mark Cuarto takes on Arvin Magramo for the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) International light-flyweight title this Thursday at Okada Manila. The highly anticipated bout headlines Manny Pacquiao Presents: Blow-By-Blow, an eight-fight card leading up to the second Pacquiao-Elorde Awards.
Cuarto, boasting a record of 23-7-2 with 13 knockouts, faces Magramo, who holds an 18-2-1 slate with 11 stoppage wins. The 10-round showdown is set to deliver fireworks, with the first bell at 1 PM. Also making waves is the return of undefeated lightweight Eman Bacosa, who squares off against Congolese puncher Arnaud Darius Makita, now based in Davao City.
“Blow-By-Blow continues to uplift Philippine boxing by giving fighters opportunities to showcase their skills,” said Manny Pacquiao, the eight-division legend and a product of the iconic boxing program, which now airs every Sunday on Cignal’s ONE Sports channel.

Serving as the main event of Manny Pacquiao Presents: Blow-By-Blow eight-bout card before the second Pacquiao-Elorde Awards, the Cuarto and Magramo showdown appears explosive on paper.
Cuarto enters the scheduled 10-round duel with a 23-7-2 with 13 knockouts while Magramo parades an 18-2-1 slate with 11 wins inside the distance.
The first bell is at 1 PM and expected to take the spotlight is the return of undefeated lightweight Eman Bacosa, who battles Arnaud Darius Makita, a Congolese puncher based in Davao City.
“Blow-By-Blow is once again at the forefront of putting premium on Philippine boxing with this latest show at Okada,” Pacquiao, a product of the popular weekly boxing show, said.
“This is a special card we have assembled since it will serve as the appetizer to the Pacquiao-Elorde Awards,” added the eight-division legend whose program is shown at primetime every Sunday on Cignal’s ONE Sports channel.
Since reviving Blow-By-Blow in November 2022, Pacquiao has been assuring not just boxers but Philippine boxing in general the opportunity to earn almost on a monthly basis.
Blow-By-Blow is being ran by Marife Barrera and matchmaker Art Monis.
