The 2025 Lotus Emira lineup has officially landed in the Philippines, bringing three exciting variants: the Emira Turbo, Emira Turbo SE, and Emira V6. These models build on the foundation set by the Emira First Edition and Emira V6 First Edition, both of which have been turning heads since their global launches in 2022 and 2023.

Lotus continues to push the envelope in terms of design and performance, staying true to the brand’s DNA. Expect the same striking lines, thrilling driving dynamics, and impressive aerodynamics, now paired with new enhancements to make the Emira experience even more exhilarating.

For those who love the raw power of a supercharged V6, the Emira V6 is still available, featuring a 3.5-liter engine paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. But for drivers looking for a turbocharged experience, the Emira Turbo and Turbo SE introduce a 2.0-liter four-cylinder variable geometry turbo engine, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of new variants to the award-winning Emira, one of the most successful Lotus models to date. In 2025, the Emira range will extend to meet wider customer needs while retaining the brand’s DNA and driving dynamics Lotus is renowned for,” Dan Balmer, president and CEO of Lotus Cars — Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, said.

The 400bhp supercharged engine of the Emira V6 combines power and accuracy.

The Emira Turbo delivers 360 bhp through its turbocharged engine, combined with the precision of an 8-speed DCT gearbox. Stepping up the power, the Emira Turbo SE boosts output to 400 bhp and gains an additional 50Nm of torque, pushing its performance even further. Meanwhile, the Emira V6 retains its 400 bhp charge-cooled, supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine, available with either a six-speed manual or an optional six-speed automatic gearbox.

Lotus has introduced fresh performance and design features across the Emira range, allowing customers to personalize their vehicles to match their driving style and aesthetic preferences.

The Emira Turbo now comes with new performance-focused elements, including single-piece brakes, along with striking design touches such as 20-inch 10-spoke lightweight cast alloy wheels in gloss silver, “Emira Turbo” branding, standard foot pedals and an interior technical fabric headliner. Other notable highlights include Vivid Red paint, black brake calipers, a black leather interior, 12-way electric seats, Touring suspension, and Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport tires developed specifically for the Emira.

For those craving even more performance, the Emira Turbo SE packs an additional 40 bhp and 50 Nm, which translates to an 11 mph higher top speed and a blistering 0-100 km/h time of just 4.0 seconds. The SE variant also includes the Lotus Drivers Pack as standard, featuring Sports suspension, upgraded cross-drilled and ventilated two-piece brake discs, and launch control. On the design front, the Emira Turbo SE sports newly finished 20-inch V-spoke forged Satin Grey wheels, Zinc Grey paint, an Alcantara headliner, red brake calipers, unique “Emira Turbo SE” badging, black Lotus branding, and black tailpipes.

The Emira V6 continues to impress with cross-drilled and ventilated two-piece brake discs, Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport tires, Touring suspension, and a limited-slip differential (LSD) for manual variants. Design details include black technical fabric on the headlining, A-pillars, and Cantrail, along with new branding.

With its 400 horsepower, the Emira Turbo SE is a vehicle that combines sophistication and speed.

The names of these vehicles are steeped in Lotus heritage. The Emira Turbo nods to the brand’s early adoption of turbocharging, first introduced in the Turbo Esprit back in 1980. The Emira Turbo SE follows Lotus tradition, where “SE” originally stood for “Special Equipment” — a designation that has graced models like the Type 14 Elite, Type 26 Elan, Lotus Cortina and the Esprit Turbo SE. Staying true to this legacy, the Emira Turbo SE signifies a higher-performance variant with enhanced equipment levels.

With the arrival of the 2025 Emira lineup, Lotus continues to deliver thrilling, driver-focused machines that honor the brand’s racing heritage while embracing modern performance advancements. Enthusiasts in the Philippines now have even more options to experience the precision and excitement that Lotus is known for.
