The OFW Partylist continues gaining support ahead of the 2025 midterm polls as it climbed to 19th spot in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) Pre-Election Survey conducted in February 2025.
This marks a significant rise from its 29th-place ranking in December 2024, reflecting increasing recognition and support for its advocacies.
The latest SWS poll showed that the OFW Partylist gained 1.23 percent of voter preference in February compared to the 0.97 percent garnered by it in December.
Out of 156 partylist groups vying for seats in the upcoming elections, this upward trajectory highlights the party’s growing influence and the strong backing from overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families, which many of whom have directly benefited from the efforts of its representative, Representative Marissa del Mar Magsino.
Currently representing migrant workers in the 19th Congress, the OFW Partylist is seeking re-election for a second term.
Among its key legislative proposals are the Magna Carta of Filipino Seafarers, internet voting for OFWs, enhanced repatriation assistance, stronger measures against human trafficking, and improved protections for Filipino workers abroad.
The OFW Partylist’s continued rise in survey rankings is a testament to its increasing public support.
As the elections draw near, its growing momentum strengthens its chances of securing another term in Congress to further advocate for the welfare of OFWs and their families.
