GAC Motor Philippines, under Astara Philippines, has made waves on the global stage, bringing home two major awards at the 2025 GAC International Partner Conference. The brand secured back-to-back Gold Awards for Outstanding Distributor of the Year 2024 and Outstanding Sales Department of 2024 — a clear recognition of its rapid growth, impressive sales numbers, and strong commitment to customer service.

 GAC Motor has been on a roll worldwide, expanding to 72 countries and regions while achieving a 97 percent jump in global retail performance — with Asia playing a huge role in that success. Here in the Philippines, GAC Motor saw a stellar 65 percent year-on-year growth, selling 3,207 units in 2024 alone. The rising demand for GAC vehicles in the country reflects its growing reputation among Filipino car buyers.

 One of the key reasons behind this momentum? A rapidly expanding dealership network. In just two years, GAC Philippines went from six dealerships in 2022 to 20 in 2023, and 32 in 2024 — the fastest growth within GAC’s global network. This strong push for accessibility has helped drive the brand’s success, making it easier for more Filipinos to experience what GAC Motor has to offer.

As part of its continuous improvement initiatives, GAC Motor International is rolling out the GAC Sales and Service Way (GSSW) training program to enhance operational capabilities across its markets. This initiative is designed to refine sales and service processes, further improving the overall customer experience.
