Riding on the sustained growth of the gaming market, DigiPlus Interactive Corp. (DigiPlus)—the company behind digital entertainment platforms BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone—remains optimistic about its prospects for the year.

In an interview with reporters on Thursday, DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio Tanco said the company plans to beef up operations, including an upcoming venture into Brazil, as key to sustaining user growth.

DigiPlus closed 2024 with 40 million registered users, doubling the 20 million active users it reported in 2023.

“It will improve, but maybe not at the rate it grew last year, but it will happen. Just in the past two years, there was hyper-growth, but competition also started to come. Because it’s a successful industry, (in terms of) users, we’re coming from a high baseline,” Tanco explained.

DigiPlus has committed to introducing new products aimed at capturing the attention of Filipino players.

To maintain its momentum, DigiPlus has committed to introducing innovative products tailored to Filipino players.

Last September, the company launched Pinoy Drop Ball, the first live-streamed drop ball game in the Philippines. Inspired by traditional Filipino carnival games, the offering merges cultural nostalgia with digital entertainment.

DigiPlus also unveiled Super Ace Jackpot, a high-stakes slot game featuring jackpots of up to P200 million. Players can win individual prizes as high as P30 million, with the game combining card-based mechanics, a unique multiplier system, and four jackpot levels.

The new offerings are expected to drive revenue growth as they appeal to Filipino players seeking culturally relevant and thrilling gaming experiences.

On Thursday, DigiPlus, in partnership with its social development arm BingoPlus Foundation, officially launched the Pusta de Peligro Responsible Gaming campaign. The initiative includes the release of three short films aimed at promoting responsible gaming practices.

The company has invested heavily in advocacy, working alongside mental health professionals, financial coaches, and educators to create a campaign that addresses the realities of Filipino players.
