The Southern Police District (SPD) apprehended five fugitives in a series of operations throughout January, reflecting the district’s commitment to combating crime and delivering justice to the community.

These arrests align with the directive of National Capital Region Police Office acting regional director Brig. Gen. Anthony A. Aberin to prioritize the apprehension of wanted persons.

Among the notable arrests was “Alias Rambo,” the top most wanted person at the station level. He was apprehended on 17 January in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City, on a murder warrant issued by Judge Maria Isabel Rivera of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 256, Parañaque City.

The operation was conducted by the Parañaque City Police Station’s warrant and subpoena section.

“Alias Pingkaw,” ranked among the top 10 most wanted persons at the regional level, was arrested on 7 January in Batangas City on homicide charges. The warrant, issued by Judge Francisco M. Santos of RTC Branch 206, Pasay City, carried a bail of P200,000.

The arrest was a collaborative effort involving Parañaque Police Substation 2, the warrant and subpoena unit, the District Intelligence Division and the Regional Intelligence Division.
