The Philippine national jet ski team looks back on its fruitful campaign in the 2024 World Grand Prix Waterjet World Cup, which took place in Pattaya, Thailand last December.

National team head coach BJ Ang could not help but rave about the Philippines’ showing.

“I’m very happy with their performance and it’s something to watch out for in the international scene. It’s not like, they’re just Filipinos, nothing like that. No, it’s more like: You better watch out (for) those Filipinos. They will perform,’” said Ang, a bronze medalist in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.

“So, I’m very happy with their achievements because it’s something that they really work hard.”

Angelo Ventus finished as a triple crown champion in the Novice Runabout Stock after coming up with the highest point total in the two other legs in the United States and Poland.

Meanwhile, Cody Lorenzo Pontino lorded over the Novice Ski Stock division while Vito Miguel Tinio finished third in the Junior Spark 13-15 Stock.

In the women’s Runabout 1100 Stock, Three Filipino jet skiers got into the into the top 10 of the with women’s Runabout 1100 Stock with sisters Kristine and Kayla occupying fourth and sixth places, respectively.

Jesse Arcilla placed ninth in the same category.

Louie Buhisan finished third in the Pro-Am Runabout 1100 Open in the Thai competition.
