As golf prodigy Rianne Malixi marks her milestone 18th birthday, she is set to host the inaugural Rianne Malixi Challenge Cup, a golf tournament designed to not only celebrate her coming of age but also to support meaningful causes.

The event will take place on 23 March at her home course, the Royal Northwoods Golf and Country Club in San Rafael, Bulacan which offers an exciting challenge for junior golfers and invited guests.

Proceeds will benefit the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines’ training programs and the Norberto S. Amoranto Lodge No. 358’s worthy causes.

The Rianne Malixi Challenge Cup aims to bring together young, aspiring golfers from across the country for a day of competition and camaraderie.

Open to junior golfers, the tournament will also welcome invited guests, including some of the country’s top golf personalities and Malixi’s supporters, who will join her in making this event a success.

The tournament format promises to be both challenging and exciting, designed to showcase the skill and determination of the participating junior golfers.

For Rianne, this event represents more than just a birthday celebration; it is an opportunity to give back to the sport that has shaped her journey and to raise funds for causes that are close to her heart.

Through the Challenge Cup, Rianne hopes to inspire others to give back and support causes that promote education, health and well-being.

Malixi, the reigning US Women’s Amateur and US Girls’ champion, is known for her competitive spirit and her commitment to giving back.

From a young age, Rianne has balanced her dedication to the game with a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunities she has received.

Now, as she reaches adulthood, the Rianne Malixi Challenge Cup serves as a perfect testament to her growth not only as a golfer but as a role model for young athletes across the country.

“This event is my way of celebrating not just my birthday but everything that has helped me get to where I am today,” Malixi said.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve received throughout my career, and I want to use this platform to pay it forward by supporting the next generation of golfers and causes that matter.”

Meanwhile, Rianne has received an invitational to the Augusta National Women’s Amateur Championship in Augusta in April.
