An intimate Yuletilde gathering

‘Celebrating the holidays is important to us as we always seek to create intentional pieces for the home, with meaningful stories behind them.’

When Philux celebrated a new curation of handcrafted holiday accessories in November, with an intimate gathering at the newly renovated Philux Rockwell showroom, new and familiar faces filled the brand’s address at R3 Level, Power Plant Mall.

“Celebrating the holidays is important to us as we always seek to create intentional pieces for the home, with meaningful stories behind them,” says Stephanie Kienle Gonzalez, president and managing director.

The showroom reflected seasonal reds, greens, silvers and golds across an array of materials from metals to fabrics with a custom Christmas wreath hung in the vitrine display.

In collab with Floret, lush arrangements were placed in every corner for added organic touches. The stage was set for the brand’s latest showcase of elevated local craftsmanship.

Highlighting Filipino design excellence and artisanship has always been at the heart of the brand.

Philux proudly unveiled its newest array of handcrafted accessories. The Capiz Christmas Tree features exquisite capiz shellwork and delicate brass details on an upcycled Ash and Walnut wood off-cut base. The Philux Angel Ornaments, namely, Aniela, Celeste and Gabriel, are made from the same elements and are dynamic expressions of heavenly beings.

Sustainability is an integral part of the Philux design ethos. The team endeavors to find creative ways to utilize what others would deem waste, and the result is often a new piece created with off-cuts in mind.
