South Korean actor-turned-director Kim Hee Won, who helms Disney+’s newest K-drama Lightshop Keeper, believes that the eight-part mystery show will satisfy viewers.

“The biggest challenge was how to make it feel fresh and engaging for the viewers. How to make it easy to relate to and emotionally moving,” Kim said in an online press conference.

Despite some concerns, Won focused on the ultimate goal: For viewers to enjoy and feel happy while watching the drama.

“I have confidence that this show can really move people’s hearts. The vibe and atmosphere of Lightshop Keeper is something that is relatable to everyone and something that can really touch your hearts,” Kim added.
