Is there truth to the rumored Momol moments between Joshua Garcia and Elisse Joson?
This, talent manager and vlogger Ogie Diaz wants to know as a source told him that Garcia and Joson were reportedly seen making out during the Star Magical Christmas Ball.
Momol is a slang term for “making out making out lang.”
“Gaano katotoo na doon sa ballroom ay nag....tootoo ba? Momol. Ang term sa akin ng nagparating sa akin ay Momol (How true that in the ballroom is...is it true? Momol. The term used by my source is momol),” Diaz said in his Showbiz Update Youtube vlog.
Clueless at what Momol stands for, Diaz queried to his co-host Mama Loi about the meaning of the term.
“Yung parang ano, medyo intimate din kasi may kiss, may hug (It’s like, it’s like intimate because there’s kiss and hug),” Mama Loi explained.
Diaz can’t believe that Garcia and Joson will do such a thing while inside the ballroom.
“Parang ‘di ko makitaan na mayroon silang tendency na maggano’n kasi kung ang dalawang tao ay may balak na kaelyahan dumiretso ng kuwarto iyan (I can’t see that they have the tendency to do it because if they have plans to do something out of libido they could have gone to a room),” Diaz said.
The momol thing reportedly reached Batang Quiapo actor, McCoy de Leon, who is Joson’s partner. De Leon was reportedly infuriated by what he learned.
Diaz was also clueless at when Garcia started having bodyguards wherever he goes.
He explain the reason for his curiosity.
“Kasi nga, nagalit itong si McCoy de Leon. Sa galit niya, siyempre na napamura siya, napabanta pa, the usual na lalaki na ‘makita ko lang ‘to sasapakin ko.’ Pero hindi tayo sure kung talagang sinabi ni McCoy (It’s because McCoy got made in his anger, of course he cursed, threatened, the usual guy who’d say ‘if I see him I’ll punch him.’ We’re not really sure if McCoy said it),” he said.
Diaz is not sure if Garcia hired bodyguards when he learned that the momol thing has reached de Leon or he was already with bodyguards when the issue happened.
Why Sharon Cuneta does not seek public office
Being the daughter of former Pasay mayor Pablo Cuneta, Sharon Cuneta has always been queried when she is dipping her fingers into politics.
In the media junket for Saving Grace where Cuneta plays Miranda Valdez, a public service host and advocate for mothers’ welfare, the megastar was asked for the nth time if she’s decided to pursue a career in politics.
“I always say this. I may have the brains for it. I certainly have the heart for it. I’m not so sure if I have the stomach for it,” she said.
“Parang I’m always 99 percent not interested but I never say never. Parang one toe is through the door,” she explained.
With her bubbly personality on-cam, Cuneta said she’s an introvert in real life.
“I’m really a homebody as opposed to what everyone sees. I’m really an introvert. When I’m home, I’m really quiet,” she said.
“When I’m out, because it’s my job...I love talking to people. I like making people happy, entertaining people. But when I’m in my real own space, I like being by myself,” she added.
Her husband, former senator Francis Pangilinan, is also a “homebody.”
This was the reason she was at her happiest when the Covid pandemic happened.
“No offense to people who suffered during Covid. No offense at all. This is just me. When the lockdown happened, I was in heaven because it was what I wanted. I mean, parang walang trabaho, walang istorbo ( It’s like no work, there are no disturbances). I can just be with my books and my laptop and my YouTube and my movies, my family,” she explained.
