Jungo Pinoy, a Filipino-focused streaming platform by Los Angeles-based Jungo TV, has made its entire library accessible for free. The platform features a variety of content, including Filipino indie films like Edward (2019), Mexican telenovelas, Korean dramas, and classic Filipino films such as Lino Brocka’s Cain at Abel (1982).

It also offers Hallypop, a channel dedicated to Korean dramas, pop music and live performances, and the All Women’s Sports Network (AWSN), presented by Whoopi Goldberg, which highlights female athletes in live matches across major leagues like UEFA, FIBA and WNBL.

Accessible through jungopinoy.com and its mobile app, the platform uses adaptive bitrate streaming to adjust video quality based on internet speed, making it data-efficient for viewers. Many titles are also available in 4K resolution, ensuring a high-quality experience for those with faster connections.

Jungo TV’s CEO and co-founder is George Chung, a five-time world karate champion and a two-time inductee into the Black Belt Hall of Fame. With decades of experience in content creation and distribution, Chung emphasizes providing accessible, high-quality entertainment tailored to diverse audiences, particularly in the Philippines.

Free streaming like traditional TV

Jungo Pinoy operates like traditional free TV, supported by commercial breaks rather than subscription fees. This setup makes it particularly appealing to Filipinos seeking accessible entertainment cost-free.

The platform’s library spans Filipino films in genres like drama, action, comedy, and horror, alongside international offerings. All Mexican telenovelas and Korean dramas on the platform are Tagalog-dubbed, including popular titles like Marimar and Bubble Up, ensuring they are easily enjoyed by local audiences.

With entertainment costs rising, Jungo Pinoy offers a practical option for viewers who want high-quality content without monthly charges. Streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, HBO’s Max and VivaMax dominate the market with subscription fees ranging from P149 to P550 or more. For budget-conscious audiences, Jungo Pinoy provides a way to enjoy diverse programming at no cost.

Sports content and future plans

Sports enthusiasts will find a robust selection on Jungo Pinoy. AWSN highlights female athletes in live games from nine major sports, including basketball, soccer and volleyball. These matches feature leading leagues such as UEFA, FIBA and WNBL, celebrating women in sports and offering content rarely highlighted by other streaming platforms.

The platform plans to introduce Setanta Sports in the coming months, which will stream top-tier leagues such as the NBA, Premier League and La Liga. This addition is expected to broaden Jungo Pinoy’s appeal, making it an increasingly versatile option for Filipino viewers.

Accessible entertainment for all

With its tagline “Libre na lahat,” Jungo Pinoy stands out among free entertainment platforms by offering a curated library of full-length films, shows and live sports events. Unlike YouTube or TikTok, where sports fans often settle for recaps or highlights, Jungo Pinoy provides uninterrupted access to full games, allowing fans to catch every moment of the action.

Its on-demand accessibility means you can enjoy high-quality entertainment and live sports wherever you are, whenever you want, making it a practical and versatile choice in the competitive streaming market.
