9th batch of Filipino repats from Israel to arrive in Phl

The Department of Migrant Workers announced that another batch of Filipino workers from Israel will be returning to the Philippines later at 3:10 p.m., 23 November, at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 via Etihad Airways flight EY424.

The DMW confirmed on their last count that the 42 overseas Filipino workers will be arriving later, composed of 30 hotel workers and 12 caregivers.

This will be the ninth batch of repatriates from Israel, which brings the total number of repatriates from Israel who returned home to 303.

Meanwhile, a group of eight overseas Filipino workers from Lebanon arrived last night at 10:10 p.m. at the NAIA Terminal 3 via Qatar Airways flight QR928. This will be the fourth batch of OFWs repatriated from Lebanon amid the escalating tension between Israel and Hezbollah, a Lebanon-based militant group sympathetic to Hamas.

To date, a total of 27 OFWs have safely returned to the country from Lebanon. The first batch of four OFWs arrived on 28 October, the second batch of six OFWs on 3 November, the third batch with nine repatriates on 9 November, and eight Filipinos for the fourth batch on 22 November.
