The Supreme Court said over the weekend that 91.90 percent of the total Bar examinees for the year attended the second day of the tests.
A report from the SC Public Information Office said 9,196 out of the 10,006 registered examinees were present during the afternoon session of the exams on Sunday.
The figure is lower than the 9,198 or 91.92 percent of examinees who were recorded to have taken the exam on Sunday morning. The turnout during the first day last Wednesday, 9 November, was 9,207 or 92.01 percent.
A total of 810 examinees absented themselves from Sunday's afternoon session, with the Ateneo de Manila University testing center logging the most absentees with 302.
Also registering absentees were University of Cebu-Banilad (81), the Ateneo de Davao University (74), Saint Louis University (54), University of the Philippines-Bonifacio Global City (44), and University of San Carlos with 38.
Likewise, absentees were reported in the De La Salle Lipa testing center (33), De La Salle University and Dr. V. Orestes Romualdez Education Foundation (32 each), the University of Nueva Caceres (26), Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan (24), and the Manila Adventist College (19).
Criminal and Commercial Law were the subjects of the Sunday exams. On 16 November, examinees will be tested on Civil Law; and on Remedial Law and Legal Ethics on 20 November.
Examinees who were unable to take the Bar exams due to Severe Tropical Storm "Paeng" may apply for a refund of their fees, the SC said.
