De La Salle University will begin its second round campaign in the UAAP Season 85 men's basketball tournament on Saturday sans starting guard Evan Nelle.

Nelle was meted with a one-game suspension by the league after committing an unsportsmanlike foul during the Green Archers' game against Adamson University last 22 October.

The incident occurred with 2:13 left in the first quarter of the said game which La Salle lost in overtime, 86-84, to end the first round.

He will serve his one-game ban suspension when the Taft-based squad takes on University of Santo Tomas at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in the 2:00 p.m. curtain-raiser.

DLSU is on a three-way logjam with a 3-4 win-loss record tied with the Falcons and University of the East.

Nelle has committed his third infraction of the rule.

He was called for an unsportsmanlike foul last 1 October in the last 5:04 of the Green Archers' game against University of the Philippines.

Nelle was also whistled for the same infraction on 9 October against Ateneo de Manila University with 6:25 remaining in the second quarter.
