Expo tackles housing industry issues

The trade exhibits will feature exhibitors such as real estate developers and allied industries to real estate.

Amid challenges faced by the housing industry, aside from the latest report from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas that various types of residential properties throughout the country continue to surge, a housing industry group and the government have joined forces to conduct exposition to somehow address these challenges.

Slated this 4 to 6 October, the National Real Estate Association is set to conduct the 26th Housing Trade Exhibits jointly with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, slated to happen at the Trinoma Mall Activity Center, North EDSA, Diliman, Quezon City.

This was amid reports that the residential real estate price index rose by 2.6 percent and 1.6 percent compared with year-ago and quarter-ago levels, respectively, aside from housing deficit that is continue to happen.

Gracing the kick-off of the said event and inaugural tour of the exhibits are DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino "Jerry" Acuzar; Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte; OFW Partylist Representative Marissa "Del Mar" Magsino; Maria Aurora Legarda, VP for Operations of Ayala Land Malls Inc.; and NREA national officers, led by chairperson Ricky Celis, board vice chairperson Imelda Magtoto and president Ronie Biando.

The trade exhibits will feature exhibitors such as real estate developers and allied industries to real estate.

It will also feature a Poster Making Contest and a Tiktok Challenge for Housing.
