Fallon finds serendipity of Lopez-Rodriguez romance

Hollywood star, singer and dancer Jennifer Lopez and her fiance, Major League Baseball fame Alex Rodriguez, were destined to marry based on a 21-year-old video clip of his interview about his dream date in the early years of his professional baseball career.

TV host Jimmy Fallon dug up the footage and aired it on his talk show Thursday when Rodriguez was the featured guest.

In the video, a reporter asked the then Seattle Mariner shortstop about his dream date and the 23-year-old Rodriguez cockily replied, “Jennifer Lopez. Hopefully you can find me a date with her.”

Amused at seeing the video on “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”, Rodriguez told the host dreams actually do come true in America though it took him 20 long years. The two started dating in 2017 before getting engaged this year.
