Manila monitors flood conditions

Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department personnel continue to monitor conditions across the city on 18 August, following severe flooding caused by the southwest monsoon, or habagat, the previous day. Major roads were inundated, prompting class suspensions as a red rainfall warning remained in effect. As of Tuesday morning, all previously flooded streets were reported passable to all types of vehicles.
