Soon, Filipinos would no longer need to travel to South Korea for Compose Coffee, as the Jollibee Group prepares to introduce the fast-growing Korean coffee chain to the Philippines while expanding its footprint in the high-growth beverage segment.
Jollibee Foods Corp. informed the stock exchange on Monday that its subsidiary, Fresh N’ Famous Foods, Inc., has signed a master franchise agreement to bring Compose Coffee to the local market through its franchising network, with a planned launch this year.
“We are extremely excited to introduce Compose Coffee to the Philippines this 2026, aligned with its mission of making high-quality coffee more accessible to consumers,” Jollibee Group Philippines Chief Executive Officer Joseph Tanbuntiong said.
“This planned launch strengthens one of our key strategic growth pillars—the coffee and tea segment—and positions the Jollibee Group to play a more meaningful role in our customers’ daily routines. We look forward to bringing more moments of joy to Filipinos through innovative, world-class beverage experiences.”
Compose Coffee is expected to complement the Jollibee Group’s portfolio of 19 brands and over 10,000 stores worldwide, leveraging the company’s scale and operational expertise to capture opportunities in the growing coffee market.
Richard Shin, CEO of Jollibee Group International, added that Compose Coffee’s entry supports the company’s strategy to grow its global brands and make high-quality, accessible coffee available to more Filipino consumers.
Founded in South Korea in 2014, Compose Coffee has grown to more than 3,000 stores, offering Americanos, flavored lattes, and Korean-inspired beverages.
The brand is known for high customer satisfaction and operates advanced roasting systems designed to ensure quality and consistency across its network.
