Muling inaasahan ang panibagong pagtaas sa presyo ng mga produktong petrolyo sa susunod na linggo, ayon sa Department of Energy (DOE).

Batay sa galaw ng pandaigdigang merkado, tinatayang tataas ang presyo ng gasolina ng humigit-kumulang P0.10 kada litro, diesel ng P0.85 kada litro, at kerosene ng P0.45 kada litro.

Ipinaliwanag ng DOE na ang inaasahang pagtaas ay dulot ng pagmahal ng langis sa pandaigdigang pamilihan, bunsod ng mga aberya sa suplay sa Estados Unidos, mabagal na pagbawi ng produksyon sa Kazakhstan, tumitinding tensyon sa Iran, at desisyon ng OPEC+ na ipagpaliban ang planong dagdag-produksyon.

Inaasahang iaanunsyo ng mga kumpanya ng langis ang opisyal na price adjustment sa Lunes, 2 Pebrero 2026.
