Capital One Philippines, recently named one of Asia’s Best Workplaces for 2025, has reached a series of community service milestones, including the installation of its 100th clean water tower and the distribution of half a million meals.
The organization, which holds a three-time “Great Place to Work” certification, reported that its latest water tower was turned over to Kalubkob Elementary School in Silang, Cavite, in October. The project, a partnership with the Planet Water Foundation, provides safe drinking water and hygiene education to local students.
“As the organization continues to grow, we reaffirm our mission to change banking for good,” said Raoul Teh, Capital One Philippines head of country. “Our drive is to be a force for good not just for customers and associates, but also for the communities around us.”
The company also highlighted the 11th year of its Contact Center Readiness Program (CCRP) in partnership with the Tuloy Foundation. The training initiative, designed to prepare underprivileged youth for the IT and Business Process Management industry, has produced 167 graduates to date with a 99 percent employment rate.
In addition to its work in education and water access, the firm strengthened its support for food security through a partnership with Rise Against Hunger. This collaboration resulted in the donation of 500,000 meals and 49,000 essential items, such as hygiene kits and school supplies, to families facing economic hardship.
Environmental sustainability remains another core focus for the company through its “Pledge to Plant” initiative in Siniloan, Laguna. This program involves employees in reforestation efforts and environmental workshops intended to support long-term ecological well-being.
Julie Larano, lead for community impact and investment at Capital One Philippines, said the culture of volunteerism is intended to inspire broader change. She noted that by showing up, the company’s associates create hope and move the community forward through acts of service.
The company stated its community programs are part of a broader strategy to integrate social responsibility with its business growth in the Philippines.
