A Lexus Gallery is in the works on Sgt. Esguerra Street in Quezon City, with opening plans set for 2027.
Lexus Philippines has started work on its next showroom and service site, and this time it is heading to Quezon City.
Company executives and local officials attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Lexus Quezon City Gallery on Sgt. Esguerra Street. Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte was present, along with District 4 Rep. Bong Suntay and Councilor Candy Medina.
Lexus Philippines leaders and the dealer group behind the project also joined the event.
Mayor Belmonte said the city continues to push for faster and more automated business processes. She said this helps attract more investors and entrepreneurs. She also linked business growth to job creation and more opportunities for Quezon City residents.
Lexus has operated with a single public facility for years. Lexus Philippines has been based in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, which remains its main hub today. The company recently moved to a larger BGC site to handle growing demand and improve customer flow.
The planned Lexus Quezon City Gallery is set to rise four floors high with a mezzanine level. The total footprint is listed at 12,700 square meters. The facility will house both sales and after-sales operations.
Services will include Lexus One, periodic maintenance, general repair work, and body and paint services.
Lexus Philippines chairman Alfred Ty placed the expansion in the context of steady growth in the local market.
“We have grown from selling 172 units in 2009 to over 2,000 units annually today. With more than 12,000 Lexus vehicles now on Philippine roads, the strength of this market makes this the right time to expand,” Ty said.
He also pointed to Quezon City as a practical choice based on where many owners already live.
“This location allows us to serve our customers with greater convenience and relevance. It also enables us to deliver an even better Lexus experience to a wider community, especially with more than 2,000 of our customers already residing in Quezon City alone,” he added.
Design details for the new gallery follow Lexus’ current visual direction. Plans call for sharp and tapered surfaces paired with clean exterior lines.
The interior will use a mix of materials and textures, with elements meant to highlight local artistry alongside Japanese craftsmanship.
The Lexus Quezon City project is a joint venture between Toyota Motor Philippines and the Oben Group.
The Oben Group operates several Toyota dealerships across Metro Manila and nearby provinces, including Balintawak, North EDSA, Otis, Marilao and San Jose del Monte.
The target opening is set for 2027. Once completed, the new gallery is expected to give Quezon City-based owners a closer option for sales and service, especially for routine visits that require time and repeat trips.
